I'm working on mine atm and wondered if you have any tips/tutorials you followed?
When dealing with sss I try to break the setup process in different steps to find the right values for each layer, it's much easier this way! Not a real tip but for having the skin looks good you don't have to just tweak the color and sss but also the specular/reflection are very important so pay attention to this, creating good maps for reflection and glossy is the way to go
