Hypothetically, if this model was to be converted to be used for real time gameplay (@30fps) for next gen platforms (both xbone/ps4 on paper are capable of producing 1.6B polys/sec), how many polys can constitute this model (highest LoD) without losing any significant detailing or curves?

Also, this brilliance is fav'd.

Ah cool, did you paint your own epi, sub and backscatter maps?
I'm working on mine atm and wondered if you have any tips/tutorials you followed?

I painted just the color, epidermal and backscatter maps.
When dealing with sss I try to break the setup process in different steps to find the right values for each layer, it's much easier this way! Not a real tip but for having the skin looks good you don't have to just tweak the color and sss but also the specular/reflection are very important so pay attention to this, creating good maps for reflection and glossy is the way to go ;)
